Bolillo bread is so delicious. It is crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. It’s similar to french roll and you can use it as sandwich bread for your sandwich, dip it into your soup or simple just toast it and eat it with butter or jam. Kids always love making bread because we get the chance to make a mess with the flour. Kneading and shaping the dough is also exactly like how we play our play-doh! This recipe doesn’t contain any eggs or milk.

Ingredients:
Strong flour 500g
Dry yeast 6g
Sugar 15g
Butter 30g
Salt 6g
Warm water 300ml
Recipe:
1) Add yeast, sugar, little warm water and 2 tbsp flour in a mixing bowl. Mix well and wait for about 5-10 minutes
2) Add the yeast mixture to the remaining flour and mix well. Add butter and salt. Add the remaining water and knead the dough until it is not sticky
3) 7 Put the dough aside and cover with a plastic wrap. Let it rise at least double. Place it somewhere warmer to speed up the process.
4) Take out the dough after it is risen. Knead it till all the air is gone. Separate into 3 smaller dough and roll into the bread shape you want
5) 8 Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes while waiting the bread dough to rise further more
6) Put the bread dough inside the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes
7) When the bread starts to change color, spray some water on the bread to make the outside crispy. Bake for 5 more minutes
8) Take out the bread and cut it into smaller pieces. Ready to eat now!

2) 在攪拌碗中加入酵母、糖、少許溫水和 2 湯匙麵粉。攪拌均勻,等待約 5-10 分鐘
3) 將酵母混合物加入剩餘的麵粉中,攪拌均勻。加入牛油和鹽。加入剩餘的水,將麵團揉至不粘手
4) 把麵團放在一邊,蓋上保鮮膜,讓它至少發酵一倍。放在溫暖的地方可加快該過程
5) 麵團發酵好後取出。揉到所有的空氣都消失後,分成3個小麵團,再揉成你想要的麵包形狀
6) 焗爐攝氏180度預熱10分鐘,同時等待麵團進一步發酵
7) 將麵團放入焗爐烤8-10分鐘
8) 當麵包開始變色時,在麵包上噴一些水,能使麵包外皮酥脆,再烤5分鐘 9) 取出麵包,切成小塊。可以吃了!
