Signature Fried Chicken
The idea came from one day, our Chef Eligio craved for some fried chicken and made a few for himself. The result – all our staff had finished all of them and only left him one piece! Marinating with 20 ingredients with at least 24 hours and prepare with the finest corn oil. Crispy outside, Juicy inside – the best Fried Chicken our staff team had ever eaten!
Mexican Truffle Salad (Huitlacoche)
Huitlacoche (huit-la-co-che), a fungus that grows on ears of corn around the kernels in puffy, gray clouds. It looks strange in the wild, but when you use this into the culinary world, it becomes a delicacy instantly and used in all sorts of dishes. Dated back to ancient Aztec time, people in Central Mexico today were already enjoying this healthy, nutrients-rich delicacy which has a superior tasty earthy-corn taste. At Verde MAR, we choose to prepare it into salad, so our guests can enjoy the original taste fully.
