I’m cooking with my little friend Alison today! We had SO MUCH FUN!!! The bread was so yummy and we each finished one whole piece ourselves! The recipe is vegan friendly (no dairy, no egg, no meat). The egg wash is totally optional so feel free to skip it!

Ingredients:
Flour 1 kg
Sugar 110g
Salt 12g
Apple 800g
Corn oil 60ml
Dried yeast 11g
Cinnamon powder 1/4 tsp
Warm water 500ml
Recipe:
1) Wash, peel, core the apple and cut into small pieces
2) Put the apple into a cooking pan. Add sugar, cinnamon and 2 tsp of water. Heat with medium flame for about 5 minutes
3) Add dried yeast, sugar and 100ml warm water into a mixing bowl. Stir well. Wait till it activates
4) Mix flour, salt, corn oil and the yeast mixture together. Knead till it forms a dough
5) Cut the dough into small pieces and roll each dough into a flat square
6) Put the apple on the square dough and roll into a bun
7) Put the apple bread dough at a warm spot. Cover with a clean dried towel and allow the dough to double in size
8) Brush some egg yolk on top of the bread for a nicer color (optional)
9) Preheat the oven at 100C for 15 minutes. Bake the bread for 10 minutes or until it turns golden brown

肉桂粉 1/4 茶匙
溫水 500毫升
食譜:
1) 蘋果洗淨,去皮去核,切成小塊
2) 將蘋果放入鍋中。加入糖、肉桂粉和 2 茶匙水。中火加熱約5分鐘
3) 將乾酵母、糖和 100 毫升溫水加入攪拌碗中。攪拌均勻,等它發酵
4) 將麵粉、鹽、粟米油和已發酵的酵母水混合在一起,揉成麵團
5) 將麵團切成小塊,每個麵團擀成一個扁的正方形
6) 將蘋果放在方形麵團上,再捲成長條麵包
7) 將蘋果麵包麵團放在溫暖的地方。用乾淨的乾毛巾蓋住,讓麵團變大一倍
8) 在麵包上塗一些蛋黃,顏色更漂亮(可不做)
9) 焗爐攝氏100度預熱15分鐘。把麵包烤10分鐘或直到它變成金黃色
